As mentioned earlier I had several sessions in Germany together with Microsoft Germany regarding SharePoint development with Visual Studio 2010. Now 3 movies have been published by Microsoft and my session is also available (only in German): View movie
Me and my team at Steria Mummert Consulting in Germany are specialized in establishing SharePoint development processes in companies, starting with SharePoint requirements engineering, architecture, SharePoint code analysis, SharePoint testing and deployment processes. To automate this process we have developed several tools.
One of these tools is SPSF SharePoint Software Factory. This tool is an extension for Microsoft Visual Studio and helps developers to create SharePoint code much more faster and easier.
This tool can now be found as a project at Codeplex.com. You can download the tool and use it for your SharePoint projects. Source code is available.

Together with Microsoft Germany I had 3 sessions in January 2010 with the topic “SharePoint Development with Visual Studio Team System”. Each day we were in a different city (Munich, Cologne, Bad Homburg) and introduced SharePoint 2010, Visual Studio 2010 and my topic SPALM to invited customers and developers.
In my session I presented the methods and tools which we use at Steria Mummert to make development for SharePoint much more faster and easier.
The feedback to these session was great and all sessions were overbooked. So Microsoft and I will have 4 new sessions between February and April 2010.
You can download the slides of my presentation here (only in German):Download (PDF, 4,1 MB)

At 11.02.2009 I had to chance to present my SPALM concepts at the conference “VSOne 2009″ (in parallel with the SharePoint Conference 2009) in Munich. It was a great audience (around 60 people) with a lot of interesting questions). You can download my presentation here.

Here you see our poster “MOSS and TFS in Love” that I have created for my presentation at the SharePoint Conference 2008 in Frankfurt. I presented the topic “Dreamteam MOSS and TFS - SharePoint development becomes controllable with Application Lifecycle Management” (German “Dreamteam MOSS und TFS - SharePoint-Entwicklung wird durch aktive ALM beherrschbar”), together with my co-worker Thomas Janssen. The story behind is that you can better control the SharePoint development process with Team Foundation Server 2008.
Application Lifecycle Management for SharePoint is an very interesting topic for our customers. Also the response to the presentation at the conference approved that a lot of customers are interested in this topic.
More information about the presentation can be found on Microsoft page of the conference: http://www.microsoft.com/germany/aktionen/ready-for-take-off/agenda/sharepoint.aspx
