Microsoft has published a white paper, which introduces the new ALM features in SharePoint 2010 and Visual Studio 2010 (currently only in German). I have written the last part of the paper, which describes how Visual Studio 2010 can help to make development in SharePoint 2010 better and increase quality and transparency in SharePoint development projects.
